Golden Gestures is another textile sculpture that is installed and completed by means of a performance. The performance is accompanied by a specially composed soundtrack. The piece consists of a business shirt and a pair of trousers laminated with golden decoration foil. The performer wears the golden clothes and enters the exhibition space. In there he lowers a hanging construction that is attached to a rope at the ceiling. Subsequently he takes of shirt and trousers, puts them on the hanger and slowly pulls up it up to the ceiling again. The golden suit is illuminated by a spotlight during the performance. Finally the performer leaves the room and the work is completed. The piece was shown at Schau Fenster Berlin and at the art fair in Karlsruhe.
